			<title><![CDATA[ Machines Unbound by Charles Phipps ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I just finished Machine Goddess by Charles Phipps and now I'm reading Undying Machine.  The series is an adventure one with lots of religious, philosophical, and occasional pop culture references.   The visuals in the story are what get me as the writing is very evocative towards grandiose landscapes.  The lead character can get a bit pretensious though. She and my dad were huge science fiction fans, partly because he was a designer for plain old planes, jets and spacecraft as aviation and science progressed.  Recently she was asking me if there are any books written anymore that are real science fiction.
