We need a better bitch around here. Alvin almost makes me wish for the MiJeong wannabe.

You need a better bitch around here, zap?
Don't look to me to fill that order. I would have thought that mood and mardi would satisfy you in that regard. Maybe, just maybe, I was wrong. |

I know you're not the better bitch Alvin. You're the lesser bitch. Keep up, will you?

Keep up with you, zap? Don't make me laugh. There's no need for me to keep up with you, I'm so far ahead of you, you can't see me for dust.

Only on the road to ignorance. You're ahead of us all there.

BTW, Alvin, using lower-case letters for people's names as a "subtle" putdown, that is so adolescent, and so last year.
I have a hard time imagining Alvin as a bitch, he's closer in style to a cold, wet noodle. Bitches have more spirit, I believe. |

Mood, far be it from me to put you down. After all, why would I want to? For that matter, I have no need to put down Zap or Decagon either. They are both doing
such a good job themselves proving what utter fools they are.
Take Decagon for example. First he argues that a decagon has no points. Then he changes his mind and says that a decagon has an infinite number of points (as if we didn't know that). Why can't he just get along with the accepted principle in geometry that any two-dimensional geometric shape that consists of straight lines has a number of points that is equal to the number of sides it has? A point being defined as the location where two sides meet. Examples: Triangle = 3 sides = 3 points Square = 4 sides = 4 points Pentagon = 5 sides = 5 points etc. etc. Decagon = 10 sides = 10 points. In a vain attempt to prove me wrong he got too clever by half and contradicted himself in the process. Result: he proved to everybody what a fool he is. Q e d |

So, are you arguing that the endpoints of a decagon's 10 apothems aren't points?!?!?!?

No, I am not arguing that at all, and you know that. Because there is an infinite number of apothems, there is an infinite number of points, as we all agree
on.
What I am saying is that when one looks at a decagon (without any other lines drawn in), all that one can see is 10 points. Your contradiction, Decagon, is that at first you said that a decagon has no points (which was incorrect), and then you said it has an infinite number of points (which is correct). In your mad rush to discredit me (you must have a terrible inferiority complex) you tried to be too clever by half and ignored the obvious. You committed the sin which is common to all people who engage their mouths (or their keyboards) before they engage their brains. The "resonable person" test alone would have told you that if you show the picture of a decagon to a number of reasonable persons and ask them how many points they can see, close to 100 % of them would say "10". However, the words "reasonable" and "Decagon" should not be used in the same sentence. |

No, there is not an infinite number of apothems in a decagon. There are 10 apothems in a decagon. Everyone knows that.

No, not everyone knows that, Decagon, especially you. I know you had to look it up. Can you hear a loud
GOTCHA? You see, Decagon, you are no different from the other jokers around here. Just like all the others you fell into my cleverly constructed trap. Think about it. Now, I really must go. My limo is waiting to take me to the airport so I can fly to my subtropical destination where I can enjoy my well-earned vacation. I may or may not come back to VALIS when I return. |

If you'd looked it up instead of sounding off, you might not have come off as an idiot.
Well, maybe not. |

What kind of douche says "may or may not" anyway? Doesn't "may" pretty much imply "may not"?

Careful, Zaphod, you're going to fall into Alvin's carefully constructed trap and you won't be able to get out until he returns from his
sub-tropical vacation in his limo, whereupon he'll go home to his mansion and his supermodel wife. Don't forget to keep telling yourself, Alvin:
"I am Alvin F. Purple, millionaire. I own a mansion und a yacht." I've always wondered how someone can post while in a straitjacket.

Aw, crap. You're right. I fell for Alvin's clever trap again. I'm such a fool. Decagon and I have now officially been set up and defeated in turn -
yet again - by The Great Purple One.

Relax - I'm just slumming, guys. Just letting you know I'm back from my subtropical holiday location. Will pobably be too busy for the next few weeks
to come here, but I promise to come back and liven up this joint after I've made my next million bucks.

How does it feel to live in the same hemisphere as Africa and South America?

Great, absolutely great. Is the mention of Africa and South America supposed to be a putdown? Of course it is. Oh my, you have a lot to learn. Do you realize
that Australia is clearly the most livable country in the world, five of the most livable cities and regions in the world are in Australia and every year in
world-wide polls Australia is always voted the most desirable country to migrate to, live and work, and take vacations in. I don't know where the US and
Canada rate, but they are not in the Top Ten. Settle down now, Decagon, take a deep breath and meditate.
