And that, in a nutshell, is exactly where the trouble with America lies. It appears the majority of Americans are to the political right of Ghenghis Khan and Attila the Hun. When they call an Afro-American a nigger they are not joking. The country is so full of rednecks that McCain will probably win the election, especially since he executed that brilliant move to choose Sarah Palin as his running mate which will give him a large percentage of the women's vote (and probably some of red-blooded men, too ). The Democrats are guilty of having committed the biggest blunder in years by not choosing Hillary as either presidential or vice-presidential candidate. Neither Obama, nor his running mate have anywhere near the drawing power that Hillary would have had as a candidate.

At this year's Olympics Australia has won more gold, silver and bronze medals per head of population than any other country in the world. 21 million people in Australia, about 280 million in the US, but the US has won only a handful more medals than Australia. If I thought you were a reasonable man, Decagon, I would apply the reasonable-man-test, but since you are not, I won't.
